✈️ We all benefit from this new partnership
This unsuspecting airline duo is bringing "double dip" to a whole new level.

Hey, friend, and happy first weekend of November!
I hope you had a hauntingly happy Halloween, and honestly, I’m being haunted by some pretty spooky jet lag right now. 🙃
But enough complaining — let’s talk about travel (you know, the very thing that gave me this jet lag). 👻

✈️ Woah — there’s a 25% transfer bonus to Southwest through November 6.

JetBlue and United just made it Facebook official — their long-awaited “Blue Sky” partnership has officially launched.

Some of the fine print is still being worked out, but so far, it looks hella promising. Here’s what’s up. 👇
If you’re a fan of either airline, you’ll now be able to mix and match your earnings, redemptions, and other loyalty perks. We love a double dip!
To make that super clear, here’s what’s happening right now:
TrueBlue members can earn and redeem points on United flights
MileagePlus members can do the same on JetBlue
💡 Pro Tip: United offers a handful of co-branded cards to help boost your United pool directly (this entry-level card is one I’ve held for 8+ years). Plus, you can always transfer points from most major issuers to JetBlue if you’re hoping to find award space through that medium.
You’ll still book award seats through whichever airline’s points you’re using, but this opens up way more flight options on both sides. A few partner routes are excluded, but overall, it’s a big win for frequent flyers.
And here’s what’s happening in 2026:
So that’s cool and all, but this partnership gets even better next year… You’ll be able to book JetBlue and United flights on a single ticket. That means one check-in, one bag drop, and one rebooking process. Seamless. Sooo seamless. 🎉
But wait! You’ll soon be able to double dip on those elite perks, too. So status members will see their benefits carry across both airlines.
This is great news for those of us who try really hard to get status to avoid feeling like an absolute peasant when we travel. 🫠
And yes, United’s long-awaited return to JFK is also part of the plan, but we have to wait until 2027 for that.
Overall, JetBlue brings some cool domestic vibes, and United brings the global reach. If you’re a fan (or loyalist) of either airline, this is pretty exciting. And even if you’re not, maybe now’s the time to get interested. 👀
