💰 Travel deals just keep coming

Plus, how to maximize transfer bonuses

Heyoooo, weekend party people! 🕺

I’m not one to play favorites, but April is off to a (very) strong start.

This week wasn’t about one huge headline.

We’ve got a bunch of small, useful wins… which is sometimes even better (in my humble opinion!).

Okie dokie, artichokes… let’s dive right in.

🚨 This weekend is legit your LAST chance to earn 75K miles + $250 travel credit. The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card’s limited-time offer ends Monday, April 13!

🌟 Here’s how you can earn 9x points on travel with this card setup.

🏨 Oooh, aaah — there’s a 70% transfer to IHG hotels right now.

🚗 Renting a car soon? Get bonus Delta MQDs while you’re at it.

🎲 This new Hyatt Promo could score you 20% points back in Vegas.

💙 Get instant SkyTeam elite status with Flying Blue’s current status match.

🏆 Our Favorite Pick(s): Deals on deals on deals

This week was one of those where nothing was necessarily huge on its own… but there were a lot of small, very practical deals worth your time.

So no overthinking! 🤚

Here’s what I’d pay attention to right now:

✈️ United Mile Play (quick win if you’re booking anyway)

United just brought back MilePlay (and everyone said “hallelujah!”).

If you’re targeted, it’s basically bonus miles for doing what you were already going to do.

Personally? I got coal in my stocking. 🙃

But Mike was blessed with a 4,400-mile bonus for booking a $175+ trip and flying by early June.

That might not sound crazy, but stack it with:

… and suddenly a cheap trip is a sweet little haul of miles. It’s worth checking before you book anything with United!

🏕️ Hyatt + Under Canvas (can add up quickly)

Hyatt is running two promos that stack… yay!

We’ve got a 2,000 bonus points-per-night situation at Under Canvas properties (basically high-end glamping resorts near national parks!).

And, you can earn up to 20x total points per dollar here (with a Hyatt card).

So hypothetically, you could turn an $800ish stay into over 20k Hyatt points back in your pocket, which could THEN cover multiple nights somewhere else.

If a national park trip is already on your radar, this is a great way to justify it.

And honestly, summer really is the ideal time to go!

🇬🇧 Rove to Virgin Atlantic (weird, but kind of great)

Ayooo, Rove is back at it again. We just love her.

Rove added Virgin Atlantic as a transfer partner, and the math is… surprisingly decent.

You could: book a hotel, earn Rove miles, transfer to Virgin, and then book a flight.

There are real examples where a $600ish hotel stay earns more than enough for a 6,000-mile flight to London (plus taxes and fees).

To make this even sweeter? Use a card like this one (it earns 3x UR points on travel).

If you’re booking a hotel soon, this is a nice lil angle.

💳 Southwest Spending Bonus (fine, not amazing)

Some Southwest cardholders are getting a targeted offer to earn a 25% bonus on spending.

In reality, it’s closer to a small bump (think about 750 bonus points on $3k spend).

So no, this isn’t necessarily changing the game.

BUT if you already have the card and are using it, you might as well register and earn the extra points.

🏨 IHG 15% Award Discount (easy savings)

IHG is still offering 15% off award stays at select newer hotels.

This is one of those things that's easy to overlook, but can save:

  • a few thousand points on cheaper stays

  • or 10k+ per night at nicer properties

Again… a quick check before booking… is an easy win!

The takeaway

The best way to either earn or burn your miles can be smaller deals that easily stack or save you some quick cash.

These deals are exactly how you end up getting more out of your trips you were already planning.

And a win is a win!

👀 Your ultimate guide to transfer bonuses

If you’ve got points sitting around and aren’t quite sure how to get the most out of them… this could literally change your life.

And no. I’m not even being a little dramatic. 💅

Transfer partners are how you turn “meh” award bookings into way better flights, better hotels, and sometimes way more value for the same points.

We broke it all down into a quick, 10-minute video so you can see exactly how it works (and when it’s worth it).

Pretty, pretty please give this a quick watch this weekend. I promise your future traveling self will thank you for it! 👇
