You may have heard Mr. Mike Dodge himself rave about Rove Miles in the past.

But after spending a few days playing around with it myself, I’m (also) all in.

I’m lowkey convinced this thing was built to break the points game… and maybe my sanity?

If you missed it the first time around, Rove is basically a booking platform that lets you earn flexible points and transfer them to major airline and hotel partners — kind of like a mashup of a bank portal and an OTA, if you will.

But here’s where it gets wild: we’ve seen 50 to 65x Rove Miles per dollar at hotels all over the world (not a typo).

Just to give you an example, this insanely beautiful hotel in Santorini earns 47x per dollar. A one-night stay here would earn you more than 22,000 Rove miles, which is enough to book the same hotel again… twice (since Rove charges 11k miles per night).

And if you’re looking for something a little more unique and “off the beaten path,” you can find that on Rove, as well.

Here’s a super cool glamping property near Mount Fuji that earns 52x per dollar, which is enough to book the same hotel for (almost) three more nights. 🤯 

So while some of these cash rates might look high, it’s a different story when you look at the value you’re getting in return.

And now, Rove’s added Lufthansa Miles & More to its list of transfer partners, on top of programs like Avios, Flying Blue, Cathay Pacific, Accor hotels, and more.

So yeah, like… how is this allowed??

Oh, and loyalty-eligible bookings? They now let you earn Rove Miles and your normal hotel points and elite credits (for select chain hotels).

You can even use your Hilton, Marriott, IHG, or Hyatt card, and you’ll still get your usual bonus points, too.
