💳 The best card offer since... ever

Plus, numerous ways to fly to Europe on the cheap, and much more.

Howdy, partners, and welcome back to your weekend edition of Daily Drop. 🤠

Since Tiffany covered for me on Monday while I was dying of dysentery on the Oregon Trail (or at least that’s what was happening in my fever dream), you’re stuck with me (Mike) today.

But I’ll do my best to channel her legendary weekend vibes. 🤘🏼

✅ Fiji Airways joined the Oneworld alliance and adopted AAdvantage miles as its currency, allowing you to book some sweet flights with points.

✅ The U.K.’s largest regional airline now uses Avios. Link your accounts now to transfer Avios freely between them and British Airways.

✅ Register for Hyatt’s latest promotion to earn 777 bonus points per night at select casino properties around the world.

✅ Am I Jamaica-n you wish you were in Central America like me? Check out our latest YouTube video to learn how to book an all-inclusive Caribbean getaway for pennies (and points).

🏆 Favorite pick of the week: 100k points on a $95 card? YES PLEASE.

The biggest news of the week is, without a doubt, the announcement of an all-time high welcome offer on our most popular travel card.

You’ll earn a mind-shattering 100,000 UR points after spending $5,000 in the first three months of cardholdership, which is bonkers for a card with such a low annual fee.

Here are some examples of what 100,000 points can get you:

  • ✈️ A round-trip business-class flight to Europe (yes, for real)

  • 🏝️ Multiple nights at a bougie Hyatt resort (and maybe even flights to get there)

  • 🏨 $1,250 worth of travel through this bank’s portal (redeemed at 1.25 cents per point)

You could even shell out just 84,000 of those points, transfer them to Virgin Atlantic, and book a family of four in premium economy on round-trip flights to Europe:

Anyway, this is a great opportunity and certainly the best offer we’ve seen on this card in years, so I’d highly advise you all to jump on it ASAP.

🏃🏻‍♀️ Runner-Ups

🥇New Flying Blue Promo Rewards (April 2025)

Flying Blue is back at it again with another set of discounted award flights to various cities around the U.S.

This month’s list is a little thin but still includes cities like Houston (IAH), New York (JFK), and Montreal (YUL).

You can fly between any of these cities and Europe for just 18,750 Flying Blue miles in economy, which is a pretty solid deal.

Since you can transfer points from most major banks, this is an easy win for anyone based in those cities who plans to travel to Europe later this year.

There are also some tasty business-class deals available, allowing you to enjoy KLM’s comfy lie-flat seats at a steep discount:

These awards need to be booked by the end of this month for travel before September 30. Check out this newsletter for the full details.

🥈 A whopping 80% transfer bonus

We often see transfer bonuses of 20%, 30%, and sometimes even 40%. But we rarely see them go higher than that.

Except for right now, because you can currently transfer UR points to IHG with a whopping 80% bonus.

80% transfer bonus to IHG

While this sounds like a lot, it’s not as exciting as it sounds…

IHG points are worth less than most point currencies, so this isn’t something you want to do unless you have a very specific use in mind.

For example, I have a stay coming up at the Crowne Plaza Beirut this month, which only costs 12,500 IHG points per night:

With this bonus, each night here would cost just 7,000 UR points, which is not too shabby at all for a city with limited hotel options.

Anyway, crunch the numbers for yourself and make sure you jump on this before it ends on April 30.

📣 Quick Callouts

Well, that wraps up another weekend edition of Daily Drop.

This week was extra packed with good stuff, so I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Take care, and see you on Monday. 😘
