✈️ Lie-flat business class for 35k points

This is not a typo! We're seeing multiple routes to South America for the low price of 35k miles.

Last chance: Amazon’s Big Spring Sale ends today, March 31!

Cruise news: What are closed-loop cruises, and should you book one?

Heads up: This major European airport will be closed today due to a strike.

Plan ahead: Southwest has released its flight schedule through January 2026.

Good morning, my lovely travelers — it’s Tiffany here 🙋🏻‍♀️

If you indulged in a little Daily Drop reading over the weekend from me, I’m back to carry you through this last Monday in March.

Here’s what’s going on:

✈️ Award Deal: Business class to Peru for 35k points

No, that is not a typo!

Daily Drop Pro just alerted me to a TON of availability to fly non-stop from several U.S. cities to Lima, Peru, in business class and I just had to get the word out.

Here’s what I’m seeing:

  • Routes: From Atlanta (ATL) and Miami (MIA) to Lima (LIM)

  • Cost: 35,000 Alaska or American miles + $26 to $33 in taxes and fees (‼️)

  • Dates: Wide open throughout April 2025

These are just a few examples that feature direct routes on both American Airlines and LATAM Airlines from Miami to Lima.

You’ll also find this same pricing from Atlanta, but if you’re flying with American, you’ll have one connection versus that non-stop option with LATAM.

And personally, I’d much rather go for LATAM’s business class. Daily Drop Pro also shows you that they’re flying their Boeing 767 models on this route, so this is the business-class seat you can expect 👇

I mean… Who wouldn’t use 35,000 miles to fly in that seat 😏

And I know that both American and Alaska aren’t the most accessible programs when it comes to transferring points.

However, American Airlines does offer its own co-branded credit cards, and the ability to transfer Membership Rewards points to Alaska’s program via Hawaiian Airlines is still going strong.

That means if you have a card that earns Membership Rewards points, you are very much able to transfer those points to Alaska for a sweet redemption like this.

Plus, Lima is a fantastic city, and it’s the gateway to many of Peru’s other cultural and historic gems — like the bucket list-worthy destination of Machu Picchu.

I visited a couple of years ago, and I can assure you I did not score as good of a deal as this to get down there 😉

So if you’ve been craving a visit to South America, don’t miss out on this redemption opportunity!

💡Quick tip: Score an easy 500 Hyatt points

I freaking love Hyatt, and one of the features that I really like about the hotel giant is their running list of new properties that have opened around the world.

Now, it’s not just cool to see where Hyatt is expanding (though it is cool), but there’s actually a nice incentive to stay at these new hotels.

Ready for it?

You can earn 500 bonus Hyatt points per night when staying at a new Hyatt property during qualifying dates. 🤗

This is just one screenshot showing a handful of new properties eligible for this bonus — but there are dozens on the list.

You can see that these particular properties will award you the 500 bonus points per night if you stay anytime from now until May 30, 2025.

We’re talking places like China to Thailand, Florida, Panama, and everywhere in between. 😍

And, there’s no need to register for any sort of promo… it just happens.

Plus, Hyatt even says on their website that you can earn these bonus points on top of other offers, which is pretty sweet.

And if you don’t think 500 points is a lot, well, you’re wrong (yay).

Since Hyatt’s award redemptions start as low as 3,500 points per night for Category 1 properties, if you stayed seven nights at one of these new properties, you’d earn enough points to redeem for a free night somewhere else.

For reference, here’s an incredible Hyatt property in Bali for just 3,500 points per night 👇

So don’t forget to check this list on occasion, because Hyatt does keep this updated. If you’re planning to stay with Hyatt, you might as well see if there’s a new property you can book and earn some bonus points in the process!

💡 Pro tip: Hyatt has its own co-branded card, [[ world-of-hyatt-credit-card.name ]], that usually offers a nice chunk of Hyatt points as part of its welcome offer, or you can also transfer points from the [[ chase-sapphire-preferred-card.name ]] over to Hyatt if you’re looking to book your next stay with points.

🎥 How to book a $5,000 Jamaican vacation for $200

Okay, this is ALSO not a typo 😅

Our newest YouTube video details how Brendan saved $5,000 on an all-inclusive vacation to Jamaica — all thanks to miles and points!

You’ll learn how he scored cheap award flights with Southwest, in addition to how he used points to book both a Hyatt all-inclusive property and a Hilton all-inclusive property.

Plus, if you’re curious which property was better (and which one was more worth the points), he gives you his personal review of both.

That’s all for today! I hope some of you can snag those business-class flights to Lima — Peru was one of my favorite places to visit even after all these years.

Take care, and see you tomorrow.
