šŸŒ Last-minute global points deals

One of our favorite monthly promos just dropped its latest award deals for August.

Howdy, friend. If you’re here for a travel fix, well… you’ve come to the right place. šŸ™‚

Let’s see what went down in the travel world this past week!

ā™¦ļø Feeling lucky? Hyatt’s latest promo is offering up to 7,770 bonus points for stays in Vegas.

Sometimes, you just need an escape. And sometimes that escape comes spontaneously… like ā€œnext month levelā€ type of spontaneous.

Singapore Airlines’ Spontaneous Escapes is back and is offering discounted award flights for the entire month of August.

Before I suggest some of my favorite routes for this promo, just know that you need to book your flights by the end of July — it’s a spontaneous promo for a reason. šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Now, of course, you can fly to Singapore as part of this promo (and it’s a great destination), but you don’t have to.

These are my favorite routes:

  • New York (JFK) to Frankfurt (FRA): 17,500 for economy and 56,700 miles for business

  • San Francisco (SFO) to Singapore (SIN): 29,400 miles for economy

  • Brussels (BRU), Copenhagen (CPH), Milan (MXP), and Zurich (ZRH) to Singapore (SIN): 29,400 miles for economy

  • Singapore (SIN) to Perth (PER): 15,050 miles for economy or 28,350 miles for business

  • Tokyo (NRT) and (HND) to Singapore (SIN): 18,900 miles for economy

Sure, it is hot AF in Asia right now. But I’ve been there during the summer, and prices for hotels and other tourist attractions are cheaper than normal — thanks to the off season.

And some of those routes have you properly circumnavigating the globe. So, to be able to do that for under 30,000 miles is a steal.

šŸ’” Pro Tip: Most major issuers transfer to Singapire Airlines’ KrisFlyer program, so you have plenty of options to get your points into your KrisFlyer account.

I’ve personally transferred points from these cards:

If you’ve been eyeing some summer plans and want to make the leap with this promo, you’ll be scoring an excellent deal and getting great value for your miles and points!
