Good morning from Vanuatu, a country that sounds made up, but is very real (and very beautiful).

Today’s lineup is a lot of fun, so let’s dive in:

šŸ’³ 200% transfer bonus to this hotel chain

Let’s talk about one of the biggest (and most underrated) hotel programs out there.

It’s called Accor Live Limitless (or ā€œALLā€), and on June 1 and 2, Bilt is offering up to a 200% transfer bonus to the program as part of its Rent Day promotion.

Yep, this promotion is valid for two full days (from 12:00 a.m. EST on June 1 to 11:59 p.m. PST on June 2).

Let’s take a quick step back so I can give you the Sparknotes rundown of Accor.

Accor consists of tons of brands you’ve heard of and maybe even stayed at, ranging from budget-friendly to over-the-top luxurious.

What I love most about Accor, however, is how simple its points program is.

For every 2,000 Accor points you have, you can shave €40 off your hotel bill. You can apply your points to room rates, food, drinks, parking, or anything else billed to your room.

No dynamic pricing, no blackout dates.

Bilt points normally transfer to Accor at a 3:2 ratio, giving you a fixed value of 1.5 cents per Bilt point.

That’s already a killer baseline — and guaranteed value is basically unheard of in this hobby…

But on June 1 and 2, you can get a transfer bonus based on your Bilt membership level:

Bilt Status

Transfer Bonus

Final Ratio

Blue

50%

1:1

Silver

50%

1:1

Gold

200%

1:2

Platinum

200%

1:2

This marks two firsts for Bilt:

  1. The first time Bilt has offered its best reward to TWO tiers of status

  2. The first time Rent Day has lasted TWO full days

Anyway, with a 200% bonus for Gold and Platinum members, you will get a fixed value of around 4.6 cents per Bilt point when used at Accor. šŸ”„

Let me give you an example… one of my favorite hotels in the world is the famous Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City, which towers over the historic city centre.

At 264 euros per night, it’s a bit pricey, if you have Bilt Platinum or Gold status, you’d only need to shell out 6,600 Bilt points per night to book this.

Even if you have no status, the 50% bonus makes it an even 1:1 transfer ratio, or just 13,200 Bilt points per night for this luxury hotel, which is a great deal.

šŸ’” Quick Tip: The easiest and fastest way to rack up Bilt points is by applying for the [[ bilt-mastercard.name ]] and spending on the card!

Accor also has a huge roster of budget brands, including Ibis (and variations on Ibis), with properties costing under $20 per night in some parts of the world. šŸ‘‡

At an ultra-cheap hotel like that, you could book stays for just 650 Accor points per night, or 325 Bilt points per night for those of you with top-tier status, which is a comically low price.

So here’s the big takeaway:

The [[ bilt-mastercard.casual-card-name ]] might not be the flashiest card in the biz, but when it offers promos like this, I ALWAYS regret not having it…

So, if you feel the same way, consider racking up some Bilt points now and patiently waiting for a Rent Day that tickles your fancy.

Now I’m going to hand the reins over to Tiffany for a sec to talk about one of my favorite points and miles apps in the world. šŸ‘‡

😮 The best credit card optimization app out there

Presented by: MaxRewards

Hey y’all, it’s Tiffany here. šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø And I’m hopping into today’s newsletter to tell you about one of the most helpful credit card apps I’ve recently discovered.

It’s probably no surprise that I have well over a dozen cards that I manage on a daily basis — but even for a travel pro like me, it can feel like a lot sometimes.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed with keeping track of what cards earn what points in what category, what benefits and credits each card offers, and when your different payments are due… I’m about to blow your mind šŸ˜Ž

I’ve been playing around with MaxRewards — it’s an app that makes managing your portfolio of credit cards a breeze.

With MaxRewards, all of your accounts across different bank issuers can be linked directly inside the app.

And as ā€œthe kidsā€ say today, I was properly shook. It took me under five minutes to link all my accounts, and now I can’t imagine managing my credit cards any other way.

In fact… I don’t. MaxRewards does it for me. šŸ‘‡

*Actual credit cards will be shown in the app.

The result? A user-friendly, highly optimized platform that makes viewing payments, benefits, offers, credits to be used, and spending categories all beautifully displayed in a single place.

I’m no longer logging into 5+ accounts and portals to check the status of my cards, and you shouldn’t have to either!

And because you’re a Daily Drop reader, MaxRewards is offering 25% off their annual Gold subscription, plus a seven-day free trial to test out how great it is.

āœˆļø Earn bonus Delta MQDs this summer

There’s no denying that Delta is a pretty sweet airline.

But there’s also no denying that its SkyMiles program has been playing loyalty limbo and raising the bar to earn status every five minutes.

That’s why we need to capitalize on good opportunities to earn elite status faster like Delta’s new promo to earn MQDs on hotels, car rentals, and vacation rentals.

Through July 14, you’ll earn 1 MQD per $1 spent (before taxes and fees) on car rentals, hotels, or vacation rentals booked through Delta’s travel portal — and you can travel anytime before September 7.

This gives you a third way to rack up MQDs beyond just flying or spending on co-branded credit cards.

For reference, here are the current Medallion Elite MQD requirements:

Current Delta Medallion requirements

It’s also worth noting that many of the airline’s co-branded cards give you an ā€œMQD Headstartā€ of 2,500 MQDs per year, just for holding the card — which stacks with this promo.

Between that and this new way to earn some easy MQDs, you could be a Medallion member before Labor Day.

The main caveat you need to be aware of is that if you book hotels through this portal, you won’t earn points with that hotel’s loyalty program, which is a huge opportunity cost…

So I’d advise you to prioritize using this for non-chain hotels (or with hotel chains you don’t care about much).

That’s all for today! I always love to find ways to multiply my points and reach elite status faster, so I hope you did, too!

On the topic of elite status, I have a question:

Do you have elite status with any program?

If so, tell me which one!

Until next time āœŒļø
