āļø Alaskaās epic sale (today only)
I love a good award deal, and I love a good cash deal. And the only thing better than either of those is⦠both of those.
And thatās what Alaska is offering for today only with its epic sale:
This sale applies to Alaska Airlines flights booked by the end of the day TODAY (11:59 pm PST).
Alaska doesnāt specify a specific travel period, which leaves it pretty open and flexible.
I think the biggest highlight of this sale is the ability to book flights from the West Coast to Hawaii for as few as 7,500 miles one way:
Thatās a fantastic deal, though the same flight would only cost $119 when paying cash, which is also a great deal.
Personally, Iād rather use those 7,500 Alaska miles for more valuable routes, like this exotic Fiji Airways flight from Nadi (NAN) to Port Vila (VLI), for example):
Still, there are plenty of other fun sweet spots with this sale.
For example, you can book regional flights from Seattle (SEA) to a bunch of cities in Idaho, Washington, and Oregon for as few as 4,000 Alaska miles one-way:
So hereās the bottom line:
If you book by the end of the night tonight, you can lock in some amazing cash and award rates on Alaska Airlines flights.
Since we can transfer Membership Rewards points to Alaska at a 1:1 ratio, this is a great way to turn a big welcome offer into flights for you and the whole family.

š Flying Blue Promo Rewards (April 2025)
Flying Blue is back again with another month of Promo Rewards!
In case you arenāt familiar, this is when Flying Blue (the points program for KLM and Air France) drops award rates for specific routes between the U.S., Europe, and beyond.
This monthās destinations are⦠lacking. But still valuable for many of you.
Here is the fine print:
Discounted rates are only available from a handful of cities
You must book your flights by the end of the month (April 30th)
Travel can take place before September 30th, 2025
Only applies to flights on KLM and Air France (not partner awards)
For North American cities, the list is very short this month and only includes New York (JFK), Houston (IAH), and Montreal (YUL).
You can fly from any of these cities to various European cities for just 18,750 Flying Blue miles.
If you can find a flight like this one from Houston to Vienna (VIE), Iād say thatās a great deal for such a long flight:
But other cities like Montreal or New York have plenty of alternatives that will cost you less than this particular deal.
For example, you can book flights from New York (JFK) to London (LHR) for as few as 6,000 Virgin Atlantic miles one-way, which is less than a third of what Flying Blue is charging:
But in addition to the economy-class awards, Flying Blue also has some destinations with business-class awards available.
Theyāre a little more niche but great options for those of you looking to book more unique itineraries.
For example, you can fly between Europe and Bogota, Colombia (BOG) for just 63,750 Flying Blue miles.
Thatās an amazing deal for more than 12 hours in business class.
And since this flight is operated by KLM, you get one of the nicest lie-flat seats of any of the European airlines.

Plus, earning Flying Blue miles is super easy since you can transfer points from any of these programs at a 1:1 ratio:
So even if you have a few thousand points scattered between different banks, you could empty them all out into your Flying Blue account and book a flight to Europe.
So hereās the bottom line:
This monthās list of awards isnāt great⦠but if you play around with positioning flights or live in one of the featured cities, you can get some great value.
