👋 Good morning and happy Tuesday. Today’s newsletter includes some pretty time-sensitive stuff… so hurry up and read (please):

🥂 Fly Delta One to Europe for cheap

Delta has put us through the wringer with its loyalty program in recent years, but there’s no denying that its onboard product is almost always excellent.

The only issue is that, because of dynamic pricing, premium awards on Delta are usually outrageously expensive… except for right now.

Delta has opened up some business-class award availability to partners, making it possible to fly Delta One to Europe for way less than usual.

I think the two best programs to book Delta flights with are:

Case in point: A Delta One flight from New York (JFK) to Madrid (MAD) currently costs just 67,000 Flying Blue miles and $33 in taxes and fees.

Routes like this are sporadically available throughout the summer to other cities like Venice (VCE), Edinburgh (EDI), and Amsterdam (AMS), but I found this particular flight in mid-August (thanks to Daily Drop Pro 😉).

If you don’t want to shell out quite as many miles or want to find a “goldilocks” alternative, Delta’s premium economy routes to Europe are bookable for as few as 37,550 Flying Blue miles.

Flying Blue miles are super easy to earn, as you can transfer points from all of the major banks at a 1:1 ratio.

If you recently picked up a juicy welcome offer, this is the type of redemption that can seriously stretch your points.

Plus, sometimes, you can even get a good transfer bonus… but more on that in a minute. 😏

☀️ Last chance to save on this award search tool

Are you wondering how people like me always find the best award deals like the ones I just told you about? Well, the truth is I use the tools at my disposal — like Daily Drop Pro.

💳 ICYMI: This new card is officially live

In case you missed yesterday’s news that shocked the (points) world, I want to give you a quick reminder that the [[ chase-sapphire-reserve.name ]] has officially launched with all of its new perks and benefits.

We’re talking travel credits, dining credits, lounge access, new earning rates, and more.

But the big news?

It’s got a whole new welcome offer of 100,000 points and a $500 travel credit after spending $5,000 in the first three months. 😎

Let me give you a very quick idea of what that means…

If you transferred 45,000 of those points to Hyatt (which you can) and booked a night at the Andaz Peninsula Papagayo Resort in Cost Rica (which you should), you’d be getting over $1,300 in value and still have more than half of your points left over… and a $500 credit… and all of the other credits… 🤯

So go check it out. I’ve had the [[ chase-sapphire-reserve.casual-card-name ]] for several years, and I plan on holding onto it for the long haul after learning about these changes.

✈️ 20% transfer bonus to Flying Blue

Oh, would you look at that? A transfer bonus to Flying Blue.

Through July 19, you’ll get a 20% bonus when transferring ThankYou points to Flying Blue, unlocking some serious value if you play your cards (or points) right.

If you have a stash of ThankYou points, using them for those cheap Delta One flights is a no-brainer.

But Flying Blue also offers monthly Promo Rewards, which let you fly from a bunch of U.S. cities to Europe for just 18,750 miles in economy.

With a 20% transfer bonus, that’s just 15,625 ThankYou points to get to Europe!

Another underrated use of Flying Blue miles is booking domestic flights on Delta, which will run you as few as 8,000 miles on routes like Atlanta (ATL) to Detroit (DTW).

Sure, ThankYou points might not be the most popular currency, but these transfer bonuses are exactly why you should always try to have a stash on hand.

🤓 Travel Trivia Tuesday

Which European city was just ranked the most walkable in the world for 2025?

And the correct answer is… Rome!

GuruWalk studied the habits of over four million travelers and named Rome the most walkable city in the world (again).

Between the Colosseum, Pantheon, piazzas, and infinite gelato stands, it’s not hard to see why.

Budapest, Madrid, Prague, and Barcelona also made the top five, so if you’re planning a trip where you want to skip car rentals and just explore on foot, there are some solid options out there.

You can check out the full list of 100 cities here.

WOW. What a fun newsletter, eh? Since we covered so many topics, I want to know which one you enjoyed the most:
