✈️ BOGO business-class flights to Paris
Plus, Marriott has launched a new global promo that's open to all members, and I'll throw you one other promo for those of you who have domestic travel this spring.

‼️ DELTA ENTHUSIASTS! Our top three cards for the airline just had increased welcome offers and additional benefits added. If you’re devoted to Delta, you’re gonna want to take a look at these 👀
Good morning and HAPPY FRIDAY from Bangkok!
Since yesterday was pretty credit card-heavy, I’ve got a good ‘old-fashioned newsletter with some epic travel deals today to balance things out:
🏨 Marriott’s new global promotion
We’ve been crushing hard on Hyatt lately, but Marriott is our other love, always right around the corner, waiting to woo us.
And they’re doing just that with their latest global promo 👇
In other words, Marriott members will earn 1,000 bonus points per eligible paid night and will also earn one bonus elite qualifying night per eligible paid night.
For a hotel brand that usually has pretty meh promotions a lot of the time… this one is actually pretty dope.
Here are the key things to know:
You must register for the promo prior to your first stay (registration closes on April 15th, 2024)
It’s valid for stays between February 13th and April 29th, 2024 (doesn’t matter when these stays were booked)
Only paid stays with cash qualify
There’s no limit to how many bonus points or elite nights you can earn
Make sure you select Bonvoy points for your earning preference
All hotels around the globe are participating with the exception of a few brands (that you can find a full list of here).
Some of the nice takeaways from this is that you get to earn these bonuses each night, versus each stay.
So no need to hotel hop to maximize on a deal.
And because you’ll be earning an additional bonus elite night per paid night, you’ll technically be earning two elite nights per paid night, which will help you get to that next tier of elite status twice as fast.
And remember, these bonuses are in addition to whatever other bonuses you’d earn based on your Marriott elite status or a Marriott credit card that you might have with Marriott 🤗
✈️ BOGO business class flights to Europe
There’s nothing worse than having to fly across an entire ocean in economy while you watch longingly at the business-class passengers eating caviar and drinking champagne in the front of the plane. 🥂
But I’ve got a fun fact for you:
There are some airlines out there that ONLY have business-class seats.
And right now, La Compagnie (one of those all-business-class airlines) is having a Valentine’s Day sale that could actually save you money on business-class, trans-Atlantic travel.
Until February 14th, you can book round-trip, business class flights for as little as $1,900 per person, in the form of a buy-one, get-one free deal.
Here are the routes you can book with this sale:
New York to Milan for $1,900 round-trip
New York to Paris for $1,900 round-trip
New York to Nice for $2,400 round-trip
And while that might sound like a lot, just hear me out…
The best part is the flexibility of the sale. While you only have two weeks to book flights, the sale is valid for flights through December 31st, 2024 - so you have plenty of options for when you travel.
Here are some of the perks you get when flying with this airline:
Lounge access in whichever airports you’re flying to/from
Lie-flat, business-class seats
Meal service, complete with expensive champagne
An entire plane of business-class seats with fewer people
So, yeah. Pretty much what you get when flying business with any airline worth anything…
So why fly with them instead of your favorite airline?
For one, these prices are WAY cheaper than flying business class with any North American airline…
For example, flying the same nonstop route on an airline like United (in business class) will run you well over $3,000, sometimes closer to double the price of La Compagnie… 😬
Not everyone has a stash of points and miles to use to book these bucket list trips to Europe.
Actually, I know plenty of people who don’t travel very often and save up every year for one really nice trip.
So if you want to shell out for a luxurious trip across the pond, this could be a great way to fly in style without breaking the bank.
🇺🇸 Best Western promo for North America
We spend a lot of time talking about the “big boy” hotel programs like Hyatt, Marriott, IHG, and Hilton.
But sometimes, the little boy programs have the best deals, especially for U.S. travelers.
For example, right now, Best Western is offering a pretty enticing deal for travel throughout the Spring.
Here are the deets:
Earn 5,000 bonus points per stay through May 5th, 2024
You must register for the offer and book your travel by this Sunday, February 4th
Only paid stays count toward the promotion
You can earn up to 50,000 bonus points total
Only valid for properties in North America (U.S., Canada, and Caribbean)
Best Western is a program I’ve personally been paying attention to more since my two-week stay at a lovely BW property in Ukraine last year.
But you don’t need to travel to active war zones to get some serious value from the Best Western program.
In fact, there are a TON of properties right in the good ‘ol US of A.
For example, if you want to take a quick weekend getaway to Denver for some skiing action, you could book this lovely property for just over $80 per night, which is super reasonable. 👇
The fact that you’d earn 5,000 bonus points (even if you only stay one night) makes it even more exciting.
Best Western allows you to book rooms for as few as 8,000 points per night, so you’ll have no problem putting your points to use down the road, given the ubiquity of their portfolio in the U.S. and beyond.
So whether you’re planning a weekend getaway, a warm trip to the south, or a roadtrip across the country, consider booking some BW properties to maximize your points earning.
One of my favorite ways to learn about new travel hacks is in our very own Daily Drop Lounge, an online community of DD fans and travel hackers.
And unlike your local airport lounge, you won’t have any trouble getting into the Daily Drop Lounge. 😉
Here’s a look at a post from this past week if you want a taste of what you’re missing:
Wow, what an exciting week for travel hacking, eh?? Personally, I could not be more excited to see so many great deals, tools, card offers, and more.
But I want to hear from you… so tell me - what was your favorite piece of content from this week’s roster of newsletters? Let me know by replying to this email or reaching out on social media.
Have a happy, healthy, and safe weekend and I’ll see you bright and early on Monday ❤️
