😯 Big changes are coming on Monday

This popular bank is shaking up the credit card world by announcing a major overhaul to a popular card, plus it's introducing a brand new card.

Good morning from New York! While I dodge these fast-walking, fast-talking New Yorkers, let’s get down to (travel) business from this past week. šŸ‘‡

šŸ„‚ Capital One unveiled a brand new lounge at New York JFK’s Terminal 4 this week — and it looks nice.

šŸ† Our Favorite Pick: Major overhaul to this popular travel card

The whole team was properly shook when this bank announced a complete revamp of its popular, premium travel card — set to launch on Monday, June 23.

With this impending glow-up, cardholders will see over $2,700 in annual value, thanks to new earning rates, bigger statement credits, and refreshed lifestyle, dining, and travel perks.

Here’s a peek at some of these new benefits:

  • 8x points per dollar on travel booked through the bank’s portal

  • 4x points on flights and hotels booked directly

  • A NEW $300 annual dining credit at eligible restaurants ($150 biannually)

  • Complimentary IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite Status (through December 31, 2027)

  • Plus MUCH more.

But to counter all of that? The annual fee is increasing to $795. 😬

šŸ’” Pro Tip: If you apply for the current version of this card or upgrade from its younger sibling by June 23, you’ll be grandfathered into the $550 annual fee for the first year. After that, the annual fee rises to $795.

Double plus — we’re also getting a brand new business version of this card, if that’s more your style.

There is so much more to say about this refreshed version (that I can’t say here šŸ™ƒ), so if you want ALL the details before this card is officially live on Monday, check out our breakdown of these new and exciting changes.
