✈️ Air France just got a whole lot more "bon"

Did you know that if the state of Texas was as densely populated as New York City, the entire world’s population could fit in it? 🤯
Good morning and welcome to Daily Drop, the newsletter that accidentally got sent out a bit late today… but hopefully you still love us as much as we love you. 🥰
I am really excited about everything in today’s newsletter, and I hope you will be, too:
✈️ First-class Friday: Air France just got a whole lot more “bon”
💸 The best way to book cheap flights (and an amazing current deal)

✈️ First-class Friday: Air France just got a whole lot more “bon”
Word on the street is that this business class seat is supposedly as tasty as the pastries that you’ll find in the beautiful country of France 🤤
Just LOOK at how crispy that is… like an impeccable, flaky croissant at the base of the Eiffel Towel. Mwah 😘👌
In all seriousness, this is a beautiful, premium cabin that you’ll start seeing on long-haul flights from Air France’s Boeing 777-300ER fleet. They’re set to equip 12 of these aircraft with this new suite-style seat in the winter of 2023.
And later this year, we’ll also start to see this reconfiguration on 20 Airbus A350-900s.
Let’s look more closely at some of the deets:
Embraces the “3F” concept: fully flat, full access (1-2-1 configuration), full privacy
Boasts 17.3-inch 4K screen, Bluetooth connection, and a wireless charger.
Each seat has a sliding door to facilitate maximum privacy (you can also activate a “Do Not Disturb” function so the crew know to leave you be).
Turn your two center seats into a single suite with shared cocktail table with the divider lowered (great for when traveling with your partner).
Unlimited Escargot (snails) will be offered to business-class passengers.
Okay, that last one is not true at all. But a kid can dream, can’t he?
Anyway, It sure won’t take much convincing on how awesome, comfy, and tech-forward this new seat will be. You may be wondering, how can I get on one of these planes immediately?!
As of now, it looks like New York <> Paris will be the first route where you can snag one of these coveted new seats.
The specific schedules are:
AF22 Paris to New York departing 8:30 a.m. and arriving at 10:50 a.m.
AF15 New York to Paris departing 5:30 p.m. and arriving at 6:40 a.m. (+1 day)
The best way to actually book a business class seat on one of these flights is going to be with miles and points.
Flying Blue is the joint loyalty program of Air France and KLM, but there are a handful of other carriers that also use this loyalty program.
For the sake of this brief newsletter segment, we want to highlight the fact that you can transfer points earned on travel credit cards in order to score one of these incredible seats.
You can transfer points/miles at a 1:1 ratio to Flying Blue from five travel credit cards from our Top Travel Cards page. Check out these cards:
But before you go transfer all your points, make sure you’re able to find this flight on Air France’s website so you know if it’s available and how many points you’ll need.
I don’t know about you, but we’re thinking Air France’s new business class may just soar above the rest ✈️
💸 The best way to book cheap flights is now even better
We spend a lot of time getting into the weeds of points, miles, promotions, transfer bonuses, and more here at Daily Drop.
But the best travel hack of all time is also the easiest: finding dirt-cheap flights.
You won’t have to spend hours racking up points (although you still should) if you can just find a flight for less than the price of an Uber ride to the airport.
As you know, FareDrop does exactly this by taking your home airport (and any other preferred airports) and sending you the best deals both domestically and internationally.
Lately, we’ve been seeing some pretty ridiculous deals pop up, like this one from Baltimore/Washington (BWI) to São Paolo for just over $400…
If you aren’t currently applauding, saying the word “wow” aloud, or crying at the sheer beauty of this deal, you should take a good hard look at yourself in the mirror and evaluate your life choices.
Since there are so many amazing deals like this, I wanted to give more of you the opportunity to share in the glory of the best flight deals on the market.
So I’d like to offer a $50 discount to the first 500 people who sign up for a FareDrop Global Pro membership using the link below:
My boss (who many of you know from the Youtube) would kill me if he knew I was doing this... but he's in Japan and won’t see this right away. So as long as you don’t rat me out, we’re in the clear.
You only need to book one flight at a steep discount during the year to justify a FareDrop membership, so I hope some of you take me up on this offer.
Oh, and just in case you thought I was serious before, my boss definitely signed off on this. 😉
