đ€ $149 flights to Europe
Fly to Europe for cheap this summer. Plus, score a ton of Delta miles, and take advantage of a major points-buying bonus
Gooood morning! How many of you can relate to this meme? đ
Not a care in the world.
For me, there are a couple of takeawaysâŠ
Fortunately, I love my job (itâs not suffocating).
Thanks to miles and points, I/you/we shouldnât have to worry about our bank account taking too hard of a hit.
And speaking of miles and points⊠Letâs get to the goods from this past week.
â Check out this 15% transfer bonus from [[ american-express-gold-card.points-program-override.points-currency ]] to Avianca LifeMiles.
â Just book it! This weekâs YouTube video features some of the Daily Drop and FareDrop team who sat down to chat about their miles, points, and travel journeys.
â Hyatt is offering 15% discounts on cash stays all around the world!
â Bless your ears with this weekâs podcast, which covers the ins and outs of medical and trip protection insurance while abroad.
đ Favorite pick of the week: Buy Avianca miles with a 155% bonus!
Folks, that percentage is not a typo!
But I get it. Buying points costs money⊠and thatâs not everyoneâs cup of tea.
However, with a bonus this big, you can actually score a TON of value for the price.
To unlock the 155% bonus tier, youâd need to buy a minimum of 50,000 miles, which comes out to just over $1,600⊠but youâre actually purchasing over 130,000 miles because of that insane bonus đł
That is a lot of miles. A LOT.
And by footing a bill of $1,600 upfront, youâll be saving THOUSANDS of dollars on future flights whose cash value would far exceed what you paid to buy the miles.
If you want some specific examples of how to use these miles for SEVERAL international flights, and even a tasty redemption for ANAâs business class across the PacificâŠ
Mike does all of this in Fridayâs newsletter đ

đ„Earn a TON of Delta miles right now
Delta has been in the spotlight for a while, and not for the right reasonsâŠ
*Cue all The Bachelor fans*
And thatâs because weâve seen a significant devaluation in their program, but⊠theyâre trying to claw us back by offering a đ© ton of miles right now.
And how are they doing that? With elevated welcome offers on their credit cards.
Iâll admitâIâm a sucker for a good welcome offer.
Sometimes, trying to find an award redemption on a Delta flight is just insane because of the number of miles it requires.
However, you can still find some pretty darn good redemptions on shorter, international routesâlike this one from Chicago to Mexico City for 10,000 miles. Not bad!
Having a bunch of Delta miles also works in your favor because Delta is part of SkyTeamâone of the major alliances that includes airlines that fly all over the world.
Think KLM, Air France, Virgin Atlantic, Korean Air, and more.
So if youâre a Delta die-hard and you donât have one of their credit cards, now is an excellent time to apply for one while these elevated offers are live!
đ„ Norse Atlantic is offering $149 flights to Europe this summer
If youâve never heard of Norse Atlantic Airways before, it should definitely be on your radar.
Itâs a Scandinavian low-cost, long-haul carrier offering fantastic non-stop routes from the U.S. to Europe.
And apparently, itâs their second birthday!
Unlike a toddler in the thick of the âterrible twoâs,â Norse is not throwing a tantrum. Rather, theyâre celebrating by offering a birthday sale with flights to Europe starting at just $149 đ€Ż
These prices are during PEAK SUMMER TRAVEL, which is crazy.
And theyâve got some great routes on offer:
LAX to London Gatwick, Oslo, and Paris
Miami to London Gatwick and Oslo
New York (JFK) to Athens, Berlin, London Gatwick, Paris, and Rome
Orland to London Gatwick
Hereâs an example route from JFK to Rome with a ton of $149 flights available đ
And if you donât mind sweating through your shirt in the Italian summer heat, then this is a fantastic way to get to the land of la dolce vita this summer đ
Keep in mind that because Norse is a low-cost carrier, youâll be expected to pay some additional fees for your luggage and seat selection.
Overall, I think this is a great option if youâre looking for a budget way to get to Europe this summer.
But act fastâyou have until June 18th to book!
